Clinical Whitening (Office Bleaching): This method, applied in a clinical setting, involves isolating the gums with special barriers and activating the whitening gel applied to the teeth with UV light or laser. By using higher intensity gels, fast and effective results are achieved within 45 minutes.
Things to Consider After the Whitening Procedure:
Teeth may experience temporary sensitivity after the whitening procedure and this sensitivity may last for 48 hours. During the first 48 hours after the procedure, it is recommended to avoid coloring foods and beverages (for example, tomato paste dishes, red wine, tea, coffee) and not to smoke. Compliance with the diet that should be observed during this period for 2 weeks helps to maintain the whiteness obtained for a long time.

- Recyclability: There may be color changes in the teeth after the whitening process. After the desired level of whiteness is achieved, combined applications or periodic whitening may be recommended to maintain the color of the teeth.
- Internal Bleaching: This method, which is applied to root canal treated, traumatized or discolored teeth, is done with whitening medications placed inside the tooth. This process may take several sessions and in some cases the color changes may not be permanent. In case of unsuccessful treatment, aesthetic results can be achieved with crown prosthesis.
